I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
